Port Reading Resident Joins New Jersey Army National Guard

Pvt. Maaser has been assigned to B Troop, 5th Squadron, 117th Cavalry, located at the National Guard Armory in West Orange. After completing Basic Training at Fort Benning, Ga., he will attend Advanced Individual Training as an Indirect Fire Infantryman. Indirect Fire Infantryman serve in offensive, defensive and retrograde ground combat.
