North Brunswick resident Pvt. Jibreal Koomson (right) is congratulated by Chief Warrant Officer 3 Glenn Eckenrode after enlisting in the New Jersey Army National Guard on Jan. 12.  Koomson will serve with Company A, 50th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, located at the National Guard Armory in Somerset as a Combat Engineer, after he completes basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.
