Andover Resident Joins New Jersey Army National Guard

Pvt. Garcia, a Lenape Valley Regional High School senior, has been assigned to B Company, 642nd General Support Aviation Battalion located at the National Guard Armory in West Trenton. After completing Basic Training at Fort Jackson, S.C., he will attend Advanced Individual Training as a Quartermaster and Chemical Equipment Repairer. Quartermaster and Chemical Equipment Repairers are primarily responsible for supervising or performing maintenance on chemical equipment, quartermaster machinery, forced air-heaters and special purpose equipment.
