What: Return home after a six month deployment to Iraq

When: 6 p.m., Tuesday, November 20

Where: McGuire Air Force Base

Media MUST contact Lieutenant Kelly at (609) 754-6358 or cell (609) 203-4984 no later than 12 p.m., Tuesday, Nov 20 in order to gain entry onto McGuire Air Force Base.  Media will need to be at McGuire Visitor Center NLT 5 p.m.

Details – On Tuesday Nov 20 at approximately 6:00 p.m., members of the New Jersey Air National Guard will arrive at their home unit after successfully completing a six-month deployment to Iraq . The twelve-person detachment – all volunteers – from the 108th Air Refueling Wing Security Forces Squadron. Their deployment was part of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) in support of the ongoing global war against terrorism. Family, friends, unit members and leadership will be on hand to welcome our Airmen.

Due to arrival time fluctuations associated with OIF returns, media are advised to contact Lieutenant Kelly early…and as the estimated time approaches.
