Ocean City resident Pvt. Joseph A Schrum enlisted in the New Jersey Army National Guard and will serve with Detachment 1, 160th Engineer Company, located at the National Guard Armory in Atlantic City as a Carpentry and Masonry Specialist, after he completes basic training at Fort Sill, Okla.
