Korean War Veterans To Receive Medals During Commemoration Ceremony
WHO: Col. (Ret.) Stephen Abel, Deputy Commissioner for Veterans Affairs, New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs will present the New Jersey Korean Service Medal to 21 Korean War Veterans.
WHAT: 55th Anniversary Commemoration of the signing of the Korean War Armistice and presentation of the New Jersey Korean Service Medal to local Korean War combat veterans.
WHEN: Monday, July 28 at 11 a.m.
WHERE: New Jersey Korean War Memorial, Park Place/Boardwalk, near Brighton Park, Atlantic City
Details: The event is hosted annually by the New Jersey Korean War Veterans Association in cooperation with the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. The event will include a medal ceremony.
