United States Army Golden Knights Parachute Team
What:
11 seats are available on the C-31A, the aircraft that flies the Golden
Knights Parachute Team for members of the press. These seats are divided
between August 26 and 27. So it is on a first-come, first-served basis
that the spaces will be given.
SPECIAL NOTE: Two members of the Golden Knights are
from New Jersey, Sgt. 1st Class Paul Sachs and Sgt. Paul McCalpin are
from Parsippany.

Details: The Golden Knights Parachute Team is the premier
parachute demonstration team of the United States Army and will be part
of the "Atlantic City Salutes the 100th Anniversary of Powered Flight"
Air Show. Members of the Golden Knights will be available for interviews
by the media.
Golden Knights Details: The 90 soldiers that make up the Golden
Knights are stationed at the "Home of the Airborne," Fort Bragg,
N.C., and are comprised of the Black and Gold Demonstration Teams, the
Formation Skydiving Team, the Style and Accuracy Team. The Formation and
the Style and Accuracy Teams have amassed a record 408 national champions,
65 world champions, and 14 national and six world team titles in formation
skydiving. The Golden Knights spend more than 230 days a year entertaining
more than 12 million people worldwide. The teams have performed more than
8,500 live aerial demonstrations in all 50 states and 47 countries, earning
them the title of the "Army's Goodwill Ambassadors to the World."
