Volunteers Honored For 10,000 Plus Hours Of Service At The Menlo Park Veterans Home
WHO/WHAT: The New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs will honor volunteers at the Menlo Park Veterans Memorial Home for more than 10,000 hours of service donated by individuals, corporations, veterans' organizations and community groups.
WHEN: Wednesday, April 30, 2007 at 11:30 a.m.

The annual Volunteer Appreciation event celebrates the commitment of service to the 300 veterans that reside at the Menlo Park Veterans Memorial Home.
From April 1, 2007 to March 31, 2008 these special projects were performed by the more than 650 volunteers, who have donated time and talent: Central District Elks bought Bingo Machine system Eagle Scout made faux brick rolling half walls for chapel services American Legion sponsored purchase of 3 Nintendo Wii systems Woodbridge High School Art Students painted door murals on special needs secured units |
