Lakewood resident Pvt. Diego A. Franco (left) was sworn into the New Jersey Army National Guard by Capt. Nicholas Calenicoff on Feb. 12.  Franco will serve with the 154th Water Purification Company, located at the National Guard Armory at Sea Girt as a Chemical Equipment Repair Specialist, after he completes basic training at Fort Knox, Ky.
