Proposed Readoption With Amendments To N.J.A.C. 5A:2
Leaves Of Absence For Military Duty For And By Members Of The Organized Militia
The New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs, Office of the Adjutant General, Major General Glenn K. Rieth, has proposed readoption with amendments of N.J.A.C. 5A:2. The rule provides clarification of N.J.S.A. 38A:4-4 which provides for paid leaves of absence for members of the organized militia, that is the New Jersey Army National Guard, The New Jersey Air National Guard, the New Jersey Naval Militia, and the New Jersey State Guard.
The New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs proposes this rule to N.J.A.C. 5A:2, pursuant to authority of N.J.S.A. 38A:3-6(o) and 38A:4-4.
The notice of proposal will be published in the New Jersey Register on November 5, 2007. The public has 60 days in which to comment. Persons wishing to make comments may do so in writing by January 4, 2008 to:
