Employers Visit Army National Guard Soldiers During Pre-Mobilization Process At Fort Dix
WHO: Employers and civic leaders will visit Soldiers of the 112th Fires Battalion headquartered in Morristown and the Toms River armory along with G Company, 250 Brigade Support Battalion from Morristown.
This Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) visit includes employers from Sussex, Red Bank, Wall, Jersey City , Bayonne , Brick and Morris County.
WHAT: This is the first step in preparations to deploy the New Jersey Army National Guard's 50th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT) in June 2008. The Soldiers are going through Soldier Readiness Processing with the assistance of the Joint Readiness Center at Fort Dix . This summer upwards of 3,000 New Jersey Citizen-Soldiers will mobilize in support of the Global War on Terrorism in the largest deployment since World War II.
WHEN: Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 10:45 a.m.
WHERE: Joint Training and Training Development Center, Fort Dix

The media will use the Fort Dix Visitors Center parking lot as a meeting point at 10:45 a.m. for escort. The Visitors Center is located next to the Route 68 checkpoint. |
