Details: The 9/11 Memorial Flag, which measures 22x32 feet, is comprised of 2,972 miniature American flags, inscribed with the names of the individuals who died in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Additionally, there are 86 country flags representing all the nations that lost citizens on that day. The flag, which was created by a group called United We Stand, United We Sew, has been displayed at the Pentagon, in New York City and at locations across the United States.

Directions to the 177th
Fighter Wing: Atlantic City expressway East to Exit 12. Left on
Wrangleboro Road/County Route 575. Right at the next traffic light
(approximately 1.5 miles). Continue for 1.5 miles until you see
a sign with an F-16 on it for the 177th Fighter Wing. Turn left
into the main gate. Security will direct you once you have entered
the installation. |
