Monmouth Junction resident Pvt. Andrew R. Applegate (right) is congratulated by Capt. Nicholas Calenicoff after enlisting in the New Jersey Army National Guard on Jan. 9.  Applegate will serve with the 63rd Army Band, located at the National Guard Armory in Sea Girt as a euphonium player, after he completes basic training at Fort Knox, Ky.
