MEDIA ADVISORY World War II Memorial Site Dedication
The New Jersey World War II Memorial Commission will conduct the official site dedication ceremony for the New Jersey World War II Memorial at 1 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 10. New Jersey's tribute to the veterans of World War II will be located on West State Street directly across from the front entrance of the State House. Brig. Gen. Maria Falca-Dodson, Deputy Adjutant General of New Jersey will be the keynote speaker. Also scheduled to participate are Col. (Retired) Stephen Abel, newly confirmed Deputy Commissioner for Veterans Affairs, New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, and members of the NJ WW II Memorial Commission to include: Mr. Manuel Almeida, VFW; Mr. M.E. "Ted" Behr, American Legion; Mr. Howard L. Bragg; Mr. Stuart T. Brandow; Mr. Charles Carroll, Disabled American Veterans; Mr. Roy J. DeLoy, Ms. Anna M. Hoffman, Women Veterans Advisory Council; Mr. Albert A. Hujdich; Mr. James W. Manning; Mr. Albert W. Martis, Vice Chairman; Mr. Jack McGreevey, Chairman; Mr. Ben A. Roth, JWV; and Mr. Martin T. Runyon. |
