Governor Corzine To Observe Veterans Day At Doyle Veterans Cemetery
New Jersey Governor Jon S. Corzine will be the Guest Keynote speaker at the Veteran's Day memorial ceremony held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, November 11 at 11 a.m. on the patio of the Chapel.
The Veterans Day Ceremony will honor New Jersey veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The ceremony will include a flag Retirement Service, wherein the ashes of 2,000 flags will be entombed.
The Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery is located at 350 Providence Line Road in Wrightstown, N.J.
The Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery is New Jersey 's sole state-operated veterans' cemetery. Dedicated in 1986, it is funded jointly by state and federal dollars and is under the management of the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. The Doyle Cemetery is the busiest state veteran cemetery in the nation, averaging 2,750 interments each year.
