Air National Guard Hosts Local Cub And Boy Scouts For An Educational Day
WHO/WHAT: More than 200 Jersey Shore Council Boy and Cub Scouts will have an opportunity to see up close what the members of the New Jersey Air National Guard do to defend America as the 177th Fighter Wing hosts a Boy and Cub Scout Day.
The Scouts will get to see an F-16 fighter jet, view a cut-away engine and watch as the Explosive Ordinance Disposal team demonstrates a remote controlled robot. The day starts with the Scouts presenting the colors at 9 a.m. followed by four Scout events to include archery and field sports.
