Mullica Twp. Resident Receives Highest N.J. Civilian Military Award
Photo Caption: Mullica Township resident Dan Martin (r) is presented the New Jersey Civilian Commendation Medal, the highest civilian award presented by the New Jersey National Guard, by Col. Robert C. Bolton (l), Commander, 177th Fighter Wing, New Jersey Air National Guard, based at Egg Harbor Township during an awards ceremony at the 177th on March 8. Martin received the award for serving as the Director of Veteran Services, Atlantic County, New Jersey from September 2007 to March 2009. Martin's personal insight, initiative, and keen sense of responsibility to get the job done, along with his personal commitment, positive direction, and leadership assisted the men and women in 177th Fighter Wing and the entire Air and Army National Guard accomplish their state and federal mission.
