Menlo Park Veterans Home To
Honor Hundreds Who
Donated Thousands Of Hours
WHO/WHAT: Dozens of volunteers from the Menlo Park Veterans Memorial Home will enjoy a lunch to celebrate their more than 19,000 hours donated to the residents of the long term care facility. Those hours of selfless service equates to more than $300,000 dollars in manpower saved.

Volunteerism here at the Menlo Park Veterans Memorial Home comes together as a complex network supported by more than 100 organizations, to include but not limited to:
Veteran Organizations: Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legions, Marine Corp League Detachments, Vietnam Veterans, Korean War Veterans, Disabled American Veterans, Catholic War Veterans, Jewish War Veterans, Daughters of the American Revolution, Military Order of the Purple Heart and community Veteran’s Clubs.
Community Groups: The Elks, American Red Cross, United Way, Red Hat Society, Knights of Columbus, The Corvette Club, Rolling Thunder, AARP, The Masons, Master Gardeners, Therapet, Jersey Cares, Americorps and Bowlers to Veterans Link.
Local Schools: JFK High School, Woodbridge High School and Middle School, Sayreville High School & Middle School.
