Acting Governor Richard J. Codey and U.S. Senator Jon S. Corzine joined Maj. Gen. Glenn K. Rieth, senior National Guard staff, family and friends in welcoming
home 325 members of the 1st Battalion 114th Infantry Feb. 5, at the 108th Air Refueling Wing hangar, McGuire Air Force Base.

The soldiers completed a six-month long deployment to the Sinai Peninsula as part of the Multinational Force and Observers on a peacekeeping mission in the stretch of land between Israel and Egypt. Local veterans and service organizations joined to greet the returning soldiers and honor the outstanding achievements of the unit.
