NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP STATUS: Employment in this position requires
concurrent military assignment to a compatible military position in the New
Jersey National Guard in one of the following military specialty codes:

3S0X1, 3S2X1, 3S3X1 Must provide
most current RIP.

LEVEL OF CLEARANCE/INVESTIGATION: Non-Critical Sensitive (NACI)
SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTORS: To obtain the required AFSC, acceptance of
this position requires a minimum ASVAB Score of 41 in the Administrative
area. ASVAB scores will not be required
to apply for the position, however applicants must obtain required ASVAB scores
prior to acceptance of the position. The applicant must verify their scores
with their Military Personnel Flight/Military Personnel Office.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES (a copy of the complete position description is available in the Human Resource Office): Serves as advisor to commanders on assigned unit human resources (HR) programs. Plans, directs, controls and provides advisory services on all aspects of the Career enhancement program for Active Guard Reserve (AGR), unit drill status guardsmen, full time technicians and potential members. Plans, directs and controls all aspects of the Customer Service Program. Plans, directs, and controls all aspects of the Customer Service Program. Plans, directs, and controls all aspects of the human resources employment program. Plans, directs, and controls all aspects of the Relocation program for all members. Ensures accuracy of human resources data system and performs functional review of data reliability relative to the relocations program. Develops wing readiness plans for the administration of contingencies and mobilizations. Manages contingencies and exercise deployments. Manages Deployment Systems. Is responsible to the Military Support Flight Commander for the Personnel Support for Contingency Operations (PERSCO) portion of the Status of Resources and Training System (SORTS) Report. Serves as Classified Control Officer responsible for safeguarding and proper destruction of classified material IAW AF instructions, higher headquarters and local guidance. Performs duties as assigned.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, and/or training which provided the
candidate with a good understanding of administrative methods for accomplishing
the work of an organization. This
experience must reflect the ability to analyze problems, come up with practical
solutions, and to communicate effectively with others.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 24 months experience:
KNOWLEDGE of fundamental military
human resources policies, rules, guidelines, instruction, etc. to understand
the programs and converse effectively with functional managers, advise
commanders, customers, lower graded personnel, or lower echelons.
KNOWLEDGE of overall requirements, objectives,
practices and peculiarities of the assigned program area.
ABILITY to plan, organize work,
administer, communicate effective (both orally and in writing), meet deadlines,
gather, analyze data/products, and summarize facts in order to determine adequacy
and/or deficiencies of assigned programs.
KNOWLEDGE of the mission and the
unit(s) is essential in order to provide required information systems support
consistent with mission objectives and to coordinate with managers, supervisors,
members, customers, dependents, and officers on human resources issues.
KNOWLEDGE of automated systems,
personal computers, and software employed in the assigned program area to
utilize the systems in developing reports, correspondence and to extract data.
KNOWLEDGE and skill in application of
analytical and evaluative technique to identify, consider, and resolve issues
or problems peculiar to the assigned program area.
