VEHICLE MAINTENANCE

I. PURPOSE:

To assure all vehicles are operating properly for official use.

II. PROCEDURE:

A. The facility mechanic will review the Vehicle Operator Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet (DFF-41-2) for noted deficiencies. Corrective action will be taken for any problems, needed repairs, service, etc., noted on the worksheet.

B. All required parts will be ordered. Vehicle will be serviced when parts are available.

C. Vehicles not able to be services at the facility garage will be sent to a qualified mechanic.

D. AT NO TIME will a vehicle be assigned for use until all repairs are completed.
