EMPLOYEES RELATIONS POLICY
The Employee Relations Office has as its intent and
purpose the promotion of a harmonious relationship between the
administration and its staff. This relationship is achieved by ensuring
adherence to agreements between the State and the state-wide
negotiations units, in addition to ensuring the fair and proper
application of the Disciplinary Action Program and compliance with
Department of Personnel Rules and Regulations.
All statements concerning matters of employee relations at the facility
level shall be made only with prior knowledge and concurrence of the
Chief, Employee Relations Bureau and the Director, Personnel Division.
INTERNAL CONTROLS
The mechanisms for internal control will be accomplished by a monthly
internal audit of its operations by its supervisor(s). Further, all
procedures will be reviewed and updated as appropriate and annually.
