Vision test

New Jersey requires all applicants to have their eyesight checked through a vision test given at an MVC Agency. If you fail the test, you will have visit your doctor and complete the form (ST14).

In order to pass the vision test, you must have 20/50 visual acuity in at least one eye with or without corrective lenses.

If you pass the test using corrective lenses, you will have a restriction on your license indicating that you must wear these corrective lenses while behind-the-wheel.
