MVC To Open New Agency in Runnemede
Haddon Heights Agency to Close
(TRENTON) –The NJ Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) is proud to announce the grand opening of a new motor vehicle agency in Camden County, in Runnemede at the Runnemede Plaza, 835 East Clements Bridge Road, Runnemede, NJ 08078.
This new agency replaces MVC's Haddon Heights Motor Vehicle Agency, which closed permanently on Jan. 26th.
Hours of operation are weekdays 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday evening until 7:30 p.m., and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
MVC's Runnemede Agency will provide more than 1,200 additional square feet, six additional transaction windows, additional customer restrooms and much more.
Runnemede is only the most recent renovation or entirely new agency completed or opened by MVC. Over the last two years, MVC has opened new agencies in Mount Holly, Cardiff and Manahawkin. Renovations have been completed in Camden and Toms River. In mid-February, a renovated Somerville Agency will re-open after adding more than 4,000 square feet of customer and employee space.
More customer-service related and facility upgrades are planned.
MVC licenses motorists at 45 locations around the state. In 2006, MVC expects a record number of license renewals at those agencies. Motorists should visit their local motor vehicle agency mid-week and mid-month to avoid the typical rush at the end and beginning of each month.
Another way to avoid the end- and beginning-of-the-month rush at MVC agencies is to complete almost one dozen transactions online at www.njmvc.gov. Renew your registration, pay a restoration fee or parking ticket, order your driver history and obtain personalized plates, all in the comfort of your home.
