Reminder: MVC Matawan Agency to Close
New Agency to Open in Hazlet

(TRENTON) – The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) reminds all customers that the Matawan Agency at Route 34 and Broad Street will permanently close at 4:30 p.m., tomorrow, Thursday, January 4, 2007. There will be no late night that evening.
    
On Monday, January 8, 2007, MVC will open a new, larger agency within four miles of the Matawan location at 1374 Highway 36, in the Airport Plaza Mall, in Hazlet.

Hazlet hours of operation will be weekdays 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with evening hours on Thursdays until 7:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to Noon.

Customers who require MVC services on Friday, January 5 and Saturday, January 6, should visit the Eatontown Regional Service Center at 109 Highway 36, the East Brunswick Agency at 271 Route 18, or check www.njmvc.gov for alternate locations.
