MVC to Temporarily Close Bayonne Agency for Renovations, Expansion

(TRENTON) – The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) will temporarily close its Bayonne Agency, located at 1347 Kennedy Boulevard in the Family Dollar Plaza, at the close-of-business, 4:30 p.m., on Friday, August 3, 2007, for a complete renovation and expansion.

The Bayonne Agency is expected to reopen at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2007.              

Customers who require MVC services during the Bayonne Agency closure should visit the Jersey City Agency, located at 438 Summit Avenue (five miles away) or the North Bergen Agency at 90th Street and Bergenline Avenue (11 miles away). Other alternate locations may be found by visiting www.njmvc.gov.

Avoid the end- and beginning-of-the month rush at MVC agencies by visiting mid-week and mid-month. For hours and service information, customers may visit the MVC online at www.njmvc.gov
