CUSTOMER ADVISORY

MVC Facilities Closed Columbus Day

(TRENTON) – Customers of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) are advised that all MVC facilities, including agencies, driver testing sites and inspection stations, will be closed on Monday, October 10, 2011, in recognition of Columbus Day.

All MVC facilities will be open as usual on Tuesday, October 11. Customers are reminded that motor vehicle agencies operate under the following schedule:

	• Monday	8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
	• Tuesday	8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
	• Wednesday	8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
	• Thursday	8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
	• Friday	8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
	• Saturday	8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

As always, customers can avoid unnecessary trips to an agency through 24-7 access to a variety of motor vehicle services via the Web. From vehicle registration renewals and driver abstract requests to surcharge/restoration payments and driver test scheduling, www.njmvc.gov provides the added convenience of transactions from home.
