MVC Facilities Holiday Closings – November 2012

(TRENTON) – Customers of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) are advised that all MVC facilities, including agencies, driver testing sites and inspection stations, will be closed all day on the following dates in November 2012:

  • Election Day, Tuesday, November 6, 2012
  • Veteran’s Day, Monday, November 12, 2012
  • Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22, 2012  

 

Regular MVC agency hours are:

Monday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

As always, customers can avoid unnecessary trips to an agency through 24-7 access to a variety of motor vehicle services via the Web. From vehicle registration renewals and driver abstract requests to restoration payments and driver test scheduling, www.njmvc.gov provides the added convenience of transactions from home.
