Washington Inspection Facility – One-Day Closing

(TRENTON) – New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) customers are advised that the Washington Inspection Station will be closed for business on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, for one day only. The station will re-open the following morning, Thursday, September 17, 2015 for regular business hours.

Customers who would normally utilize the Washington facility and require inspection services on Wednesday, September 16, may visit the Flemington, Newton or Randolph inspection stations. Additional locations can be found on the MVC website, www.njmvc.gov.

This one-day closure is necessary to replace the concrete at the entrance to the facility.

The MVC reminds customers to always check our website before any visit to a local office and to take advantage of our “Skip the Trip” license renewal process and our on-line services such as vehicle registration renewals, driver abstract requests, and surcharge and restoration payments.
