Proposed Rule Readoption - Driver Management Bureau

The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission has proposed to readopt, with amendments, its Driver Management Bureau (Compliance and Safety) regulations, N.J.A.C. 13:19. These regulations pertain to various subjects including administrative hearings, cardiovascular disorders, convulsive seizures, installation and use of ignition interlock devices, the point system and driving during suspension, suspension for out-of-state alcohol related driving violations, and motor vehicle violations surcharges. The Motor Vehicle Commission’s regulatory proposal was published in the April 5, 2010, issue of the New Jersey Register.

Copies of the regulatory proposal may be obtained on the MVC website, www.state.nj.us/mvc, by mail or in person from the Motor Vehicle Commission, 225 East State Street, 9th Floor – East Wing, PO Box 162, Trenton, New Jersey 08666-0162; or by telephone at 609-777-1407.

The public has until June 4, 2010, to submit comments with regard to the Motor Vehicle Commission’s regulatory proposal. Comments should be directed to: Steven E.
