Proposed amendments to its Persons With a Disability regulations, N.J.A.C. 13:20-9.1, 9.2, 9.4, 9.5, 9.6, and 9.7

The Motor Vehicle Commission has proposed amendments to its Persons With a Disability regulations, N.J.A.C. 13:20-9.1, 9.2, 9.4, 9.5, 9.6, and 9.7.  These regulations pertain to the procedure, issuance, and enforcement of Persons With a Disability parking privileges. The proposed amendments to the regulations require that the privileges expire every three years and renewal of the privileges upon recertification of a person’s medical condition from a qualified medical practitioner.

The Motor Vehicle Commission's regulatory proposal was published in the June 3, 2013 issue of the New Jersey Register.  Copies of the proposal may be obtained on the MVC website, www.mvc.gov; by mail or in person from the Motor Vehicle Commission, 225 East State Street, 9th Floor - East Wing, P.O.
