Proposed Rule Amendments and Proposed New Rule -- Licensing Service

The Motor Vehicle Commission has proposed an amendment and a new rule to its Licensing Service regulations to authorize the Commission to issue non-driver identification cards at no fee to homeless persons who submit proof of temporary residence.  The Commission’s proposal and new rule was published in the August 7, 2017 issue of the New Jersey Register.

Copies of the regulatory proposal and new rule may be obtained on the MVC website, njmvc.gov. Copies may also be obtained by mail or in person from the Motor Vehicle Commission, 225 East State Street, 9th Floor – East Wing, P.O. Box 162, Trenton, NJ 08666-0162; or by telephone at (609) 777-1407.
