Proposed Rule Readoption - Boating Regulations The Motor Vehicle Commission and the Boat Regulation Commission have jointly proposed to readopt, with amendments, boating regulations. This notice pertains only to the Motor Vehicle Commission’s portion of the regulatory proposal.The Motor Vehicle Commission’s portion of the regulations is limited to New Jersey Administrative Code (N.J.A.C.) 13:82-8.1 through 13:82-9.1. These regulatory provisions that pertain to the registration and titling of boats and the licensing of boat operators are being proposed for readoption without amendments. This regulatory proposal was published in the August 17, 2009 issue of the New Jersey Register. Copies of the regulatory proposal may be obtained on the MVC website, www.state.nj.us/mvc, by mail or in person from the Motor Vehicle Commission, 225 East State Street, 9th Floor – East Wing, P.O. Box 162, Trenton, New Jersey 08666-0162; or by telephone at 609-777-1407. The public has until October 16, 2009, to submit comments with regard to this regulatory proposal.
