Preservation New Jersey is accepting nominations for its 2008 list of 10 Most Endangered Historic Sites of New Jersey. Launched in 1995, Preservation New Jersey's program draws attention to various architectural, historical, natural and archaeological properties that are in imminent danger. - Statewide Wayfinding Signage Initiative Symposium December 7, 2007

NJ DEP Public Hearing Room, Trenton, NJThe purpose of this meeting is to create consensus for a first- class, tiered statewide Wayfinding signage program by August 2008.
Celebrate NJ! and New Jersey Heritage Tourism Task Force are convening a symposium to begin the planning process for a statewide Wayfinding Signage Initiative. World-renowned wayfinding designer, Lance Wyman will be the keynote speaker, kicking off a daylong work session to address key questions.
Please plan to participate in this important event. Your invitation will arrive by email shortly. If you are not available to attend, please advise us of an alternate representative from your organization that we may invite.
- New Jersey Cultural Trust Grant Round FY 2009Grants to support history and humanities organizations
Organizations that wish to apply must be qualified by the New Jersey Cultural Trust. Applications for qualification must be received by January 7, 2008. A letter of intent to qualify for a grant must be received by January 21, 2008. Full applications are due February 28, 2008. A workshop for potential applicants will be held on December 4, 2007; two more will be scheduled for January.
