The State of New Jersey is pleased to welcome a life sciences business mission to New Jersey from Jiangsu Province, China on Wednesday, April 16, 2008. The mission will be led by Jiangsu Vice Governor Zhang Weiguo and will consist of more than 50 members from provincial and municipal governments and life sciences company CEOs from the cities of Nanjing, Taizhou, Taixing, Xuzhou, and Lianyungang in the province.  For a list of the Jiangsu delegation, click here.

During the visit, there will be a trade and economic development seminar held in New Brunswick, New Jersey to present a venue for New Jersey companies to meet one-on-one with Jiangsu companies to discuss business.  The Jiangsu delegates are well-established companies (click here to see a list of Jiangsu companies and their business interest) seeking U. S. suppliers of products, services, and technological cooperation. The delegation will focus on the life sciences industry: pharmaceutical, biotechnologies, and medical devices. This is a nice fit to New Jersey's industry strength, and New Jersey companies are encouraged to attend this event to introduce their products, services, and technologies.

New Jersey Commerce Commission and Jiangsu Provincial Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Department will co-host this seminar.  Co-sponsoring organizations include: BioNJ, Healthcare Institute of New Jersey, Sino-American Pharmaceutical Professionals Association (SAPA), China General Chamber of Commerce in USA, and American United Chamber of Commerce.

To register for this seminar, please send an e-mail to: jean.chang@commerce.state.nj.us with the following information:
