New Jersey leaders from business, government, academia and consular officials from over 20 countries network to create business and investment opportunities.
At this one of a kind event, New Jersey biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device companies have access to over 20 global markets in one day without boarding a plane! Join senior business executives, government officials and other professionals who have a stake in inward direct investment to showcase the State and to put a personal face on New Jersey based opportunities available for officials of foreign consulates and executives visiting New Jersey from their New York, Washington and Philadelphia based offices.
For officials of foreign consulates and trade bureaus, this event offers the great opportunity to view the quality of business and community life in New Jersey and to discuss the advantages of starting, investing in and expanding life sciences operations, and other businesses, in New Jersey - including pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device businesses. Foreign consular officers are able to accelerate their information gathering and relationship development for more efficient fact finding and decision making support to business leaders from their countries.
Additional opportunities for foreign consular officers and New Jersey companies include: to network with Sanofi-Aventis executives interested in collaborating with biotechnology firms, learn about the one-stop clinical trial services being offered by UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, see how Bergen County Academies is preparing future scientists for New Jersey and China, hear Ms. Caren Franzini, CEO of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, State of New Jersey, explain the new international role of NJEDA, and to meet and talk one-on-one in the afternoon with Dr. Peter R. Reczek, Executive Director of New Jersey Commission on Science and Technologies.
The event is hosted by the State of New Jersey, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority and Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) and is organized by the Center for International Business & Education (CIBE) at RVCC, and is supported by leading New Jersey business organizations.
