The New Jersey Center for Innovation Acceleration and the Entrepreneurs Academy are offering this hands-on and intensive workshop to assist you in raising capital. ‘Build Your Financial Model & Develop Cash Management Skills' is divided into three sessions offered on several dates at various locations in northern New Jersey.
Session I and II, ‘Developing and Perfecting the Financial Model', is a two-day workshop covering all the key aspects of developing a financial model which is defensible to all types of investors. Approximately eight hours of online prework prepare you for this workshop. The workshop runs from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with lunch included. The April 23-24 session will take place at NJIT in Newark. Other sessions will take place on:
- May 12-13 at the New Jersey Meadowlands Business Accelerator
- May 21-22 at the Jersey City Business Development Incubator
- June 11-12 at Farleigh Dickinson University-Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurial Studies
- June 25-26 at NJIT in Newark
- June 7-8 at Sussex County Community College
- July 16-17 at the Jersey City Development Incubator
Session III, ‘Managing Cash Reporting', covers the skills of tracking and reporting how cash is used. Sessions I and II are pre-requisite for this course. Session III will take place from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with lunch included, and is being offered on three dates: May 19, June 19, and July 31. All three sessions will take place at NJIT in Newark.
To qualify for the workshop, you must live, work, or operate a business in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, Union, or Warren County in New Jersey.
