How to qualify for a New Jersey High School Diploma

There are four ways to qualify for a New Jersey State-endorsed High School Diploma:

To request acceptance of out-of-state scores:

Transcripts are not accepted directly from individuals at any time.

Beginning January 1, 2002, only out-of-state scores from the 2002 edition of the GED Tests will be accepted.

1. past academic record;

2. an analysis of past experiences for which credit may be awarded;

3. graduation requirements; and

4. a proposed schedule of courses leading to completion of the requirements for graduation.
