HELP - Goals and Objectives

The goals and objectives are designed to reach the district’s or Charter School’s vision.  There must be at least one goal and corresponding objective(s) that directly addresses the improvement of student academic achievement related directly to a core curriculum content area.

It is expected that each district and charter school will provide a plan to use specific curriculum-based models and strategies in the classroom to effectively assist students with academic achievement in one or more content areas. Since educational technology is already a part of the existing standards, then addressing technology across all content areas should occur naturally. See the HORIZONTAL DESIGN document. Each goal must include a timeline for when it is expected to be completed between 2007 and 2010, and each objective must have a corresponding indicator (how the district or Charter School will know that the objective has been completed.)
