Program Description
Promotes awareness of arthritis and the importance of prevention, early diagnosis and treatment and provides community-based programs, services and support to prevent disease complications and increase the quality of life for people with or at risk of arthritis.

Southern New Jersey Regional Arthritis Center service offerings:

  • Distributes educational brochures and pamphlets.
  • Provides and maintains a list of providers of specialized services for arthritis.
  • Publishes local arthritis service directory.
  • Offers arthritis self-help courses, support groups, land and water exercise programs aimed at prevention of arthritis, reducing complications and improving quality of life.
  • Provides referrals to other arthritis programs.
  • Delivers educational forums including lectures and workshops.
