The Department's website contains information on a variety of
health care coverage related issues including: managed care;
HMO's; review and approval of individual and group health
insurance contracts and rates under the Department's jurisdiction;
multiple employer welfare arrangements; long-term care; and
filing of health care coverage related complaints. These are not
social service programs or benefits that the state provides; rather,
these are sources of information that can assist a consumer in
making health care and health care coverage related decisions.
