The Division of Medical Assistance and Health Services (DMAHS) administers state-and federally- funded health insurance programs for certain groups of low- and moderate-income people.
Program Description
Subsidized health insurance for essentially uninsured children up to age 19.
Fees
No fee for qualified individuals
Eligibility
General Requirements:
NJ resident
Uninsured child up to age 19 (there are some exceptions)
US Citizen, qualified alien or lawfully admitted for permanent residency.
Income Requirements:
Children in families with income up to 350% of the Federal Poverty Level
