The Ombudsman serves as an advocate for elderly residents, age 60 and older, who live in nursing homes and other long-term care facilities. The office investigates complaints of neglect, abuse, and exploitation of vulnerable residents of these health care facilities. Complaints are accepted from any source, including anonymous sources.
