The State of New Jersey is recognizing that “Identity Theft” is becoming one of the fastest growing trends that can affect any person or business, anywhere at any time. Criminals are declining using traditional methods (dumpster diving, stealing wallets/purses) as their main source for identities. Instead, they are beginning to use well thought out social engineering tactics, phishing schemes, hoaxes, spam, and spy-ware to steal identities.
