ALCOHOL AND DRUG COUNSELOR COMMITTEE I. CALL TO ORDER This scheduled meeting will be called to order at 9:30 a.m.,the Committee will then immediately move to Executive Session to conduct Investigative Inquiries. The Committee meeting will take place in the Hudson Conference Room, 6th floor , 124 Halsey Street, 6th floor, Newark, New Jersey. II. ROLL CALL
Announcement of quorum In accordance with Chapter 231 of P.L. 1975, more commonly referred to as the Sunshine Law, adequate notice of this meeting was provided by mail to the Office of the Secretary of the State of New Jersey, The Newark Star Ledger, The Trenton Times, The Bergen Record and The Courier Post. 1. Class Rosters - "Family Therapy for Addiction Counselors" and "Consultation" B. Continuing Psychology Education, Inc., Newark, New Jersey - Richard Shuman Upon review of a booklet offering continuing education contact hours for LCADCs and CADCs, the Committee directed that a letter be sent to Continuing Psychology Education, Inc. to advise that the information is incorrect and misleading. Mr. Shuman’s response to the Committee’s letter is presented for Committee review. XII. NEW BUSINESS XIII. NEXT MEETING The next meeting of the Committee is scheduled for Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. at 124 Halsey Street, Newark, New Jersey. XV. EXECUTIVE SESSION The Committee will move to Executive Session to review pending applications, discuss pending disciplinary and confidential matters. XVI. REVIEW OF CREDENTIALS Applications for licensure and certification will be reviewed and moved for approval. XVII. ADJOURNMENT
