On December 12, 2007, the Board voted to grant Dr. Vuyyuru’s request to return to a lapsed licence status with an agreement not to seek reinstatement of his medical license until after his appeal in Virginia was concluded and he has appeared before a committee of the Board to discuss his reinstatement application. Dr. Vuyyuru was set to appear before the Board at the May 13, 2009 Board meeting at 1:00 p.m., however, the matter was adjourned and is set to be heard on June 10, 2009 at 10 a.m.
