The conference is conducted for the sole purpose of providing training on identifying and assisting victims of human trafficking, investigating human trafficking activity, and the prosecution of the offenders.

We invite all members of law enforcement and criminal justice community such as; federal, state, local law enforcement personnel, prosecution, probation, parole, victim-witness, and investigators/agents from regulatory agencies.

  When I first learned about human trafficking. I immediately knew that I wanted to do something to combat it. I decided to focus my Girl Scout Award Project on spreading awareness and educating members of my community about human trafficking. For this specific part of my project, I went around to local public and private institutions, businesses and community places and distributed anti-human trafficking posters.         -- Serena Simpkins
