Operators Class
LASER Speed Enforcement Operators Course
This
class is a LASER Speed Enforcement Operator's Course
(also know as LIDAR). It is a one day course involving
both classroom and hands-on practical exercises outside.
The course is geared for the Laser Technology Incorporation
(LTI) Marksman 20-20 products (UltraLyte, TrueSpeed
and TrueSpeed S) and follows the New Jersey case law
regulating Laser Speed Enforcement. Each student will
receive a workbook at the class. Upon completion of
the 80 hours of unsupervised operation of their laser
device, and submission of documentation, an operator's
card from LTI will be issued.

Police Department in Union County. The class is
sponsored by LTI (Laser Technology Inc) and is
free of charge. Prerequisite for this course is
that you must be a certified RADAR operator for
at least one year.

All students must be a certified RADAR operator
for at least one year.

Physical
Conditioning Instructor Course
December
14, 15,
16, 19 and 20, 2011 The
Physical Conditioning Instructor Course is a 40 hour
Police Training Commission (PTC) sanctioned Instructor
certification conducted over five days. The course is
designed to instruct officers in implementing an agency
physical fitness program. Additionally, upon successful
completion of this program officers will be certified
to apply to the PTC as Physical Conditioning Instructors,
allowing them to instruct at an academy as a physical
conditioning instructor. It should be noted that successful
completion of Methods of Instruction is also required
to complete the PTC Physical Conditioning Instructor
certification requirements. Successful program completion
requires participation in both classroom and physical
based activities.
DATE:
Wednesday, 12/14 - Friday 12/16, and
Monday, 12/19 Tuesday - 12/20, 2011
(No training held on Saturday or Sunday, December
17-18, 2011)
TIME:
9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Day 1),
8:00 am to 4:00 pm on the remaining 4 days.
