FAQs: CCTV Inspections and Gaming Equipment
Inspections
Q: How will the process for CCTV Inspections and Gaming Equipment Inspections work?
(Note: This answer was updated on 03/03/11.)
A: The Division will take over these functions immediately. Except as addressed in Surveillance and Security Submissions, and new chips, which is separately addressed, there is no longer any need for pre-approval of these submissions. All submissions, including blueprints for surveillance camera locations, are to be addressed to REB Investigations and submitted to the on-site Division casino office on or before the day changes are to be made. Although the submitted paperwork does not need to be pre-approved, it must include a certification from the Surveillance Director regarding the adequacy of camera coverage and a certification from a casino manager stating that the change/submission will not have an adverse affect on the integrity of casino operations.
Please note that the use of new chips will require pre-approval and such requests must be made to the Division's Regulatory Prosecutions Bureau, 1300 Atlantic Avenue, 4th Floor, Atlantic City, NJ 08401.
