FAQs: Count Room Procedures

Q:  Can any changes be made to these procedures given that internal control procedures can be modified without approval?

A:   No. Since this relates directly to gross revenue, all procedures and matters related to this area shall remain "status quo" during the 45 day transition period unless authorized by the Division.

Q:  What will be done with the count room paperwork once the CCC is removed from the process?

A:  Pursuant to emergency regulation 13:69-1.33(i)3, each casino licensee shall deliver a copy of the totals page of the original Master Game Report or Slot Cash Storage Box Report to the Division. The documents can either be delivered as a hard copy to the Division’s office on property or scanned as a PDF document to countroom@njdge.org . Any CDs previously created in the count room for CCC inspectors should continue to be created and delivered to the Division’s office on property.
